Message From Austin Recovery Network
Regarding Adult Residential, IOP, and Family House Services:

We sadly announced the closing of Austin Recovery Network’s Adult Residential and Outpatient programming at Hicks Family Ranch as of September 2021. For years, our staff and board have worked diligently with our community partners and stakeholders to secure sustainable funding for our Adult programs. We attempted to creatively ensure the financial viability of the nonprofit residential treatment model with program improvements, strategic relationships and partnerships. Unfortunately, we uncovered what other nonprofit residential treatment centers have experienced for the last ten years– the funding model is not financially viable.
The decision to restructure was tough. We knew it meant parting ways with employees and community partners who have worked closely with us to serve our Family House treatment program for mothers with young children, to serve our male and female adults in Outpatient programming and to support our Alumni programming. A heartfelt thank you to all who have served, supported and cheered for us thus far.
As Austin Recovery Network moves forward as an organization, we remain steadfast in serving those in recovery and will focus on strengthening and growing our Youth programs. We will retain our youth staff and expand programming at University High School, our sober high school, and Keystone, our alternative peer group program. Through our restructuring and refocus, we aspire to use our experience, strength and hope to serve the youth of our community and we greatly appreciate your support on the next part of our journey. While we said goodbye to the Ranch and our legacy of service there, we ask you to stay tuned. Through our restructuring and refocus, we aspire to use our experience, strength and hope to serve the youth of our community and we greatly appreciate your support on the next part of our journey.
