Alumni Program

Austin Recovery’s Alumni Association helps our clients transition to a new life in sobriety. Our full time Alumni Coordinator oversees the program while the self-governing membership sponsor a schedule of events such as dances, picnics, boat trips on the lake, float trips down the river as well as our annual spiritual retreat in May and our October alumni reunion.

The Association also conducts a weekly Alumni Speaker Meeting at 7:30 PM every Sunday night at our Edith Royal Campus as well as regularly scheduled Alumni Support Groups for both men and women on Monday nights at Edith Royal and Thursday nights at our Outpatient and Aftercare offices. Weekly, over 200 members return for fellowship and sharing with those who are still in treatment.

The Fellowship of the Prodigal is a weekly Communion Service attended voluntarily by those in treatment and open to our alumni and to the community. The service is conducted in the Auditorium of the Edith Royal Campus each Sunday evening at 6 PM.
